AA 3 Stars Guest House

Little Harbour Guest House

Guest house
Looe, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly
Little Harbour provides an ideal base for visiting the South East of Cornwall . The guest house stands near to the Looe River and harbour on the western side of the town. It is named after the little harbour which used to extend from the main river to the outside of The Jolly Sailor pub, where boats used to moor alongside. If you are new to the area we can advise you of the best places to eat and where to go to get the most out of your stay.
    Nearby Points of Interest
  • Polperro (5 mi)
  • Take time to slow down to Polperro's pace of life - enjoy its picturesque charm, fascinating old fishing harbour and beautiful coastal scenery. Watch the world go by round the tiny harbour, have a yarn with the friendly folk, learn about Polperro's colourful past at the museum of fishing & smuggling. Enjoy a slow pint of beer or glass of wine in one of its great pubs and suspend your diet for a while in one of the many excellent cafes & restaurants.
  • Looe Guildhall Museum (1 mi)
  • The collection charts the Heritage and Development of Looe as an important port servicing both fishing and mining industry. Also the transformation of the town into a major tourist centre. One of our most popular displays is that of Looe Island. Recently featured on Time Team, the island Chapel site, combined with a nearby mainland monastic site excites a lot of interest. The subsequent history of the Island from smugglers to the Atkins sisters is well documented.
  • Looe Monkey Sanctuary (4 mi)
  • The Monkey Sanctuary is situated in beautiful woodlands overlooking Looe Bay in south east Cornwall. The Sanctuary is currently home to four species of monkey: woolly monkeys, ex-pet capuchins, patas monkeys and barbary macaques. The Trust provides advice and support for primate rescue centres around the world.
